Kun Bleurette kuuli mitä hänen parhaalle ystävälleen oli tapahtunut, tyttö murtui täysin. He olivat olleet kuin sisarukset, mutta se ettei Chrysanthéme ollut kertonut aikeistaan loukkasi tyttöä syvästi. Hän ei voinut ymmärtää miksi hänen ystävänsä koki niin syvästi vääryyttä kodissaan Viridianissa. Eikä Bleurette ollut yksin. Koko yhteisö koki samoin tämän kanssa. Kauan Bleurette lohdutti Chrysanthémen vanhempia.

Lopulta hän ei enää voinut itselleen mitään ja saadessaan sanan siitä minne hänen entinen sydänystävänsä oli kadonnut, hän sai ajatuksen. Bleurette matkasi aina Tähdenlennon saariryhmään ja Mystisten voimien akatemiaan. Hänellä ei ollut oikeutta opiskella opinahjossa, mutta vierailijat olivat Mystiquen puolesta tervetulleita.

Tytöt riitelivät. Heidän näkemyksensä erosivat kuin yö ja päivä toisistaan. Molempien silmät olivat sumentuneet ajasta yhdessä. Murtunein mielin Bleurette lähti akatemiasta, mutta lentäessään hovin puutarhan läpi valkoinen pupu kiinnitti tämän huomion. Mamestra oli seurannut tyttöjen räyhäämistä toisilleen. Siksi hän loi illuusion. Kun Bleurette katsoi pupun nappisilmiin hänen omat silmänsä kostuivat iloisista ja äänekkäistä muistoista, jotka Mamestra oli kaivanut esiin.
