Aster, daughter of Onyxborn

Aster was born to parents of Lightning and Plague, and that fact has made her deeply insecure all her life about her claim to Light and the great goddess the Lightweaver. Gossipy and values "knowing" things about others. And of course believes that Pearlcatchers are naturally the best breed. Though her father is a Wildclaw . . .

Aster is now hosting a group of travelers, strangers coming from the Ashfall Waste despite their mix of elements. The clan is hosting there for the Jubilee and though Aster snorts with resentment at Maddox's presence, Imperial uggh!, the Imperial is apparently the leader of his small clan, so Aster is biting her tongue, tucking her gleaming pearl into her hip sling and being gracious to the strangers here in the Sunbeam Ruins for the festival.

Despite his Light eyes, Maddox seems wholly unfamiliar with the Ruins and Aster in spite of herself is curious about how a Light-born Imperial knows so little about their grand history, Pearlcatchers of course, and the unsavory things about those others the Lightweaver created.
