"Nobody can stop me. I am the most powerful."

Leah is the founder of the Court of Duality. She is the reigning Queen and those who dare cross her have a nasty habit of disappearing. Not much is known about her prior to the founding of the Court, but some say that she was a lost soul, wandering through worlds before choosing to come to the [insert world name].

She has never cared much for the machinations of lower courts. While they begged her to join, offering titles and power, she rejected each missive. She had a tenuous relationship with a faraway Court and visited it once every decade, before creating her own Court. Fae from all over flocked to her feet, hoping to join and be taken under her protection, she selected only a few to reign under her.

Queens are meant to be humble and caring, kind and compassionate, and always willing to lend an ear to those in need. Leah may hold the title of Queen, but she has none of the queenly qualities one would look for. She despises small talk, unless it's about her favorite subject: herself. She loves nothing more than to stare at herself in the mirror, or tell the Council about how perfect she supposedly is. She conquers Courts like there's no tomorrow, bringing them under her banner. One day, she swears that she'll conquer all the Courts in all of [insert world name], and many fear that it will come true.

The identify of the Queen is hidden behind a mask; only the High Court know her true identity. During the day, she serves on the royal guard, leading troops of her own. As far as anyone else knows, Leah and Queen Ornithaea are two different people, and she would rather keep it that way.

Some say that she's a girl searching for her lost family, others say that she's a ruthless Queen who will stop at nothing to get power, and some say she's just a legend. But Leah knows exactly what she is: the greatest fae to ever grace the Courts.

» beautiful self-obsessed
» perfect vain
» cool At the time of writing this, it was the middle of summer. Not sure where the word "cool" comes in narcissistic
» she kind of cares about her siblings but it's not like they're extremely important to her loves her brother and sister very much
» the self-proclaimed most amazing person in the world
» cunning and crafty
» willing to do whatever it takes to reach her goals Most of the Fair Folk here are like that, so I won't hold it against her.
» loves to be queen so, so much doesn't really want the responsibility behind running the Court of Duality but also loves the power
» birthday on feb 08—an aquarius! Not her true birthday
» a kind soul who loves to help others the type to laugh at others misfortune. doesn't have much kindness for others, though she does care for those close to her.
» so, so beautiful I have ripped off the bottom part of this list for brevity. I can't read through this anymore.

It had been four long days in this world, and Leah was more than ready to leave. Traveling through worlds was a profession for her; seldom did she have any attachments to the denizens of said worlds.

[insert world name]was no exception.

For starters, everyone could shift into dragons. The last thing she wanted to see was the shadow of a drake and then look up to see that.

Dragons were horrifying as far as she was concerned, and as soon as she found what she needed, she would leave.

As she drifted near the fringes of the Tangled Wood, she watched the young fae scampering deeper into the Sunbeam Ruins. There were two of them. The girl was older, with bronze skin and rich golden eyes. Ebony hair drifted down to her shoulders. Much like Leah’s had once been before everything had gone wrong. Now her hair was a silvery sheen, borderline sickly pale gray. It wasn’t a flattering color, and the other Folk always gave her funny looks whenever they saw her walk through the courts.
The child had dark floppy hair, but she couldn’t see its eyes. Usually eyes had this way of glowing when the light hit them at just the right angle, or when one felt overwhelming emotion. But the child couldn't possibly be in touch with its powers. A Light and an Elementless child were a dangerous duo, but they held potential, potential that Leah planned to use to the most of her capabilities. At nightfall she would strike.
