Once, Chromia was a beautiful Imperial who was envied by all. She was absolutely radiant, yet nothing was ever enough for her. She was told that when the sun is eclipsed in a land of ice that whispers and screams, a powerful being would emerge from the ice and make her the most beautiful creature to ever live. She left her home in a wonderful wind village to seek this beauty, only to find that a creature of the shade resided there, and cursed her to be bound to ice and petrified, dead wood. She tried to return to her home, but was turned away as nobody recognized her and believed her to be crazy.
