The Founder and Guardian of the Glacial Sector of Clan Kintsugi, Rassan created a section of the lair just for himself, originally meant to be a hideaway from the bustle of the rest of the clan. Part of the Sentry Order, he can often be found stalking the perimeter of his Sector. An unsettling and cold presence, even though he doesn't try to be. |
The Glacial Sector started as a pipe dream, a getaway for Rassan to be finally free of the chains he felt bound him to the icy tundra of the Icewarden's lair. He was sick of the panopticon-esque ruling he endured and fled into the ruthless ocean, nearly losing his life to the waves. He found refuge in the small cove between the lands of the Fire and Wind flights, eventually climbing the rock to plunge into the Sea of a Thousand Currents. He found a chilly section of the basin and claimed it for himself, burrowing deep into the rock, where it was even colder.
He lived in his cave undisturbed until the Hurricane nearly drowned him, too close to his disastrous expedition across the sea. He was found in the early hours of one morning by Isolte, who tried to help him. She tried and tried, but he wouldn't accept help beyond obtaining another section of land for himself, where he settled back in to rest.
