Biography
Much quieter and calmer than her mate, Verna enjoys just sitting and observing the bustle of the clan around her. Often seen giggling with her Arcane Sprite, writing silly stories, usually (but not solely) involving other dragons from the clan and even visitors.
A particularly vicious fight in the Coliseum left her body badly mangled. She never fully recovered from her wounds, the after effects of which affect her life even to this day. She has good days and bad days: on the good ones, she can go about her business almost as she used to (although she gets tired more easily), but on the bad ones, there isn't much else for her to do than curl up with her mate and try to sleep.
Being somewhat of an engineer, she has, with some help, built herself some mechanical supports to aid her in moving about. These include her limb and back supports and her pride and joy, the mechanical wings, powered by her own magical energy. With them, her wings are stable and strong enough to carry her for significant distances.
She has also had hand in constructing most of the other more mechanical devices of the clan. Often collaborates on projects with Topsoil, the clan's smith.
Verna still goes sometimes to the Coliseum with the rest of her team, but nowadays she has more of a support role in the fights. Likes blowing her warhorn even outside of battle, much to the chagrin of the rest of the clan.
