Tisane might have been an innocent, naive child once, but he is certainly not anymore. A hardscrabble life in the City has made him into a manic sadist who lashes out before he gets hurt. He fights because he enjoys the fighting, not from any high-minded sense of heroism. After only eight months working as a Magical Youth, Tisane was recruited by the Fairest, and he joined their side eagerly. Sowing chaos with the Fairest suits him far better than heroics.

origin
Tisane is an orphan of unknown parentage who has lived on the streets of the City as long as he can remember. For as long as he can remember, strange, shadowy beings have seemingly attempted to abduct him, only to be repelled by a mysterious force. At the age of fourteen, the source revealed itself to him: his mascot, Adelaide, who unlocked his latent magical abilities and trained him in the ways of combat.

In truth, if he had continued his Story until his 16th birthday, he would have learned that he was the only son of the king of a planet in another dimension entirely. He was tragically abducted from his family when he was a mere hatchling, and carelessly flung into a random wormhole - this one - when his abductors realized their pursuers were closing in.

But Tisane will never learn this fact. He belongs to the Fairest now.
