B I O G R A P H Y
You will never meet a more organized pirate than Amdir. Of course, don’t call him a pirate to his face. He is a privateer, thank you very much, and he has papers that allow him to venture over the seas in search of villainy to round up. Pirates, on the other hand, are lawless, disorganized scum with little to no moral compass besides the call of treasure. He is most certainly not a pirate. Amdir has been battling that accusation for years, relentless in his defense. When he was young, despite his fear of water, he dreamed of sailing around the world, of becoming the first Ridgeback to do so. It had already been done by then, but his hatchling heart still dreamed, and it dreamed so big he had to act. Before his snout was fully grown, before his wings were really ready for flight, Amdir was already hard at work in the Southern Icefield, putting together schematics and itineraries and cargo manifests that could one day see him off the shores and onto the deep blue sea. He kept his progress organized, and worked harder than anyone to see his dream through; he reasoned that it was his desire, and so he would be the one to achieve it. No one else ought to bear the lion’s share of the work. And so, at a tender young age, barely old enough to leave the nest behind, Amdir was already prepared. His boat was ready, his fears were far at bay, and he was in love with adventure. He set sail after bidding his family a fond farewell, and that was that.

B I O G R A P H Y
He traveled Sornieth’s waters for months, inventing clever new ways to fish for himself and his crew as he went along, stopping in all ports of call. It was on the mainland that he learned of privateering, and offered the chance to protect the seas from violent thugs and their looting tendencies, he eagerly transformed his ship and crew from the cargo-bearing sort to pirate hunters, always a pioneer with a moral compass of gold. However, there has been a recent dry spell of piracy, and Amdir has taken up residence in the Shifting Expanse instead, alongside Misu, his best warrior and dear mate. While she offers her services as a warrior to their host clan, he has become a local builder of some renown. The strong organizational skills, sheer strength, and his thoughtful attention to detail that made his young sailing dreams a reality have made him an excellent craftsman, capable of constructing buildings, vehicles, monuments, and other functional structures with nary a flaw. Even if he doesn’t know how something ought to be constructed, a couple days spent studying similar architecture and many rolls of blueprints can remedy that problem. Amdir will always deliver once asked; it’s the right thing to do, and where the right thing is concerned, Amdir will always be ready. Bio by Tues.
