Oblivion

Oblivion sighed as she shakily poured the sickly green sludge into the vial, her talons quivering from both fear and anticipation. Soon.... she thought to herself, narrowing her clouded black eyes. The concoction had been ordered by Overseer, to test on a hatchling that had recently arrived to the facility. What sort of misfortune would it bring, she mused. If Overseer had requested this so urgently then it couldn’t be anything pleasant.

Oblivion was once a normal and yet brilliant spiral, exceeding her peers, remaining unhindered even as she suffered from chronic fatigue and muscle weakness in her teenage years. an inventor at heart, she was praised endlessly by her mentors and scholars for her creations but it was never enough to satisfy the emptiness she felt.

For days she worked away at her magnum opus, never stopping to eat or sleep. When her efforts bore fruit she presented a device that would help her become stronger again and regain what her sickness had taken from her. Overseer, an enigmatic dragon and leader of Entropy Labs took notice of her intelligence and hired her as one of the head scientists, and from there her influence only grew.

A freak accident led Oblivion to becoming fused painfully with one of her inventions. As the pain subsided and she regained consciousness, she realized that she was now more metal than flesh, and with the power to control electricity by her side she’s a forced to be reckoned with.
