Elegant and prideful, Elidi had always held her looks to the highest level to keep with the expectations brought by her noble title. She decorated herself with the gems and fine gold work made by her fellow firelings to match her glimmering scales, though she also had a fondness for cloths and silks, even if they were prone to catch floating embers. Yet her nobility could not change her temper, no matter how many tutors and classes she had been put into. In her heart, she was a fighter and a great one at that; a dazzling storm made of ruby scales and golden claws. Her mother warned her about her proficiency with finding trouble. How it could cause trouble for not only herself, but her family as well. Elidi tried to follow her mother's advice, but in the end it had been the thrill of the fight that became her downfall. |
She had been traveling as part of a trade between her clan and another's in Arcane when she had finally been caught. Elidi had her dotting companion come along, of course, but a friendly Ridgeback (who's name she could never pin down) accompanied her to assist with carrying the gemstones. She was... okay. She couldn't stand her refusal to believe in personal space, though her skittish nature could also be to blame for that.
Which had been why the imperial all but flew to stretch her legs and get some breathing space when the ridge finally fell asleep. Drifting, she wandered anywhere she could, eventually finding a tavern. A scuffle between her and a guardian turned into an all out brawl turned into- darkness. The sweet bliss of the void.
