Biography

Role

This female Gaoler guards and maintains the dungeon. She is only loyal to the clan because she is a natural at her job and feels that she owes her life to it. Caring for imprisoned traitors gives her a sense of purpose and contribution to her clan and mother. It also provides her with entertainment at times. She is so dedicated to her duties that she made her den in a small dirt mound cave right outside of the dungeon. The wide opening of the shallow cave is just above the entrance where she can still keep watch. Flora grows all over the exterior of the den and roots hold the mound sturdy. She only lets roots protrude and plucks other weeds inside her den and the dungeon. She has a Wraith Hound familiar that helps her with her duties. His name is Leo and his howl is used as an alarm for danger or escapees. He is well trained to keep prisoners within the dungeon at all costs.

History

She was found wandering the woods toward the music coming from the clan's lair as a baby. Francis spotted the little hatchling entering the lair. He grabbed everyone's attention to the stranger entering. Jazz ended up deciding to raise her because she reminded her of flowers in the spring. Under Jazz's care Spring took on a love for playing the harmonica and strongly bonded with the clan. Spring will sometimes play the harmonica for prisoners every now and then to tantalize them with a scrap of beauty from the outside world.

Spring was assigned the duty of guarding the dungeon when the dungeon was first made. Jazz's other daughter, Fleurette, needed to be kept isolated after killing Jazz's mate one night. She couldn't bring herself to sentence her daughter to death so it was decided that she would be held prisoner. Spring began working on digging an underground dungeon requested by Jazz. It took awhile but the final product was worth it. The dungeon was eventually expanded to be capable of holding more than a few prisoners. The cells were built with the intent of keeping the clan safe while giving prisoners a sufficient living space.
