Sparky loves burns bright for his Flamemama:




Lilypad liked Sparky so she gave him a fire plant for his den. Sparky first tried to eat it but it burned his mouth. Then he tried to decorate it but all the ornaments and clothing burned. He decided it would be best to use it as a bedside lamp. He named it "Ember".

Fire flight meme/subspecies Flambébe (meeting the specific coloration and gene criteria).

Flambebes are known for being some of the most devoted dragons to the Flamecaller, often thought of as Fire Flight Mascot. Some are even said to have special fire-related magic reflected in their tertiary genes.


Long ago, several Tundra dragons left The Southern Icefield and moved to the mainland.

Whether they were exiled, or whether they left of their own accord has been lost to the ages, however, what is known is that this group of exiles found themselves in The Ashfall Wastes.

When they had left, their coloring had been a stark white, the color of snow and ice, however, they were so overcome by the heat of the Wastes, that their fur changed, becoming a deep blue, as if the ice had melted back into water. Overheating and exhausted, they were lost, and in danger of death.

It was then that the Flamecaller took pity on them and gave them a blessing. Within each dragon's heart, she planted a spark from the great volcanoes of the Wastes. With these sparks, the dragons never needed to fear the elements, for they were shielded from both fire and ice.

They stayed in the Wastes for many years, until eventually, they grew old, and their children's children's children made the decision to return to the Icefields.

There, they had hatchlings of their own with the native dragons. The blue colouring faded from their children, and, in each generation, the spark of the Wastes weakened.

On rare occasions, however, a baby hatches with the full power of the spark within them. These dragons have the blue coloring of their ancestors, and often return to the Wastes, with many going into the service of the Flamecaller, feeling a great personal connection with her.

Additional lore based on tertiary gene:

Runes: This flamebebe's potent fire magic has manifested as swirling magical runes on their body. Flamebebes with this tertiary gene have powerful magic that can be summoned merely by speaking, and the runes that adorn their body are scalding hot!

Underbelly: This Flambebe's inner spark has evolved and now manifests itself on the dragon's body. A warm glow radiates from this dragon's belly, lit with the intensity of its internal spark. This dragon can now channel this spark to create a duplicate of itself made of fire. While doing this, the dragon loses its red underbelly.

Circuit: This Flambebe has learned to channel their inner spark to let them commune with the forces of fire at will. They can use this power to communicate with dragons in the Flamecaller's service, and also bend certain creatures associated with fire to their will. The circuit-like markings glow when these powers are being used.

Crackle: This Flambebe's inner spark has ignited into a fiery aura that flares around this dragon. Radiating extreme heat, this dragon is now a master of Pyromancy. It can direct the flames from its body to attack foes, or can wrap itself in a protective coat of flame. These dragons can replenish or intensify their fires by diving into lava.

Gembond: The inner spark of this Flambebe has strengthened, and manifested itself in harder-than-diamond armor. While usually restricted to just a few areas, this armor can extend to cover the dragon in times of need. In addition to protection, the claws of this dragon have become incredibly sharp and neigh indestructible.

Smoke: This Flambebe's inner spark has manifested as a wispy, fire-colored fog that follows them everywhere they go. The fog acts as a natural shield for them, able to form a barrier that is impervious to any temperature changes. The Flambebe is not usually able to control the fog, but when their emotions run high the fog acts as a natural extension of their will. The fog glows brightly when it is defending either the Flambebe or other beings.

Okapi: This Flambebe's inner spark has manifested as a fire that dances around their limbs. The fire that bursts from this Flambebe's body is excellent for working metals, and armor or weapons crafted by this Flambebe are stronger than those worked by other dragons tenfold. The fires are able to sense the closeness of good metal and burn white-hot when they do. In addition, this Flambebe's bite strength surpasses even the strongest of Snappers.

Spines: The inner spark of this Flambebe has sprouted along their back in the form of small spikes. These spikes are able to catch fire and give the Flambebe a very impressive appearance. The spikes can also be fired from the dragon's body and they can explode on contact. The spikes grow back relatively fast, but direct sunlight greatly increases the speed at which they do.

Glimmer: Only a Flambebe who is especially gifted has an inner spark that manifests in the form of a glimmering belly and horns. Flambebe such as this one are in perfect harmony with their element, able to create fire from the strength of their heart. The fires can be formed into physical weapons, such as blades, that can be used to defend themself. When they are especially impassioned, this dragon's belly and horns gleam brightly. This Flambebe is also incredibly charismatic and could charm the Stormcatcher into giving them a day off.


Flambébe Breed/Colors/Genes/Eye Type Requirements:
Breed: Tundra only.
Colors: Primary and secondary blue-range, tertiary orange-range (with fire preferred).
Genes: Primary and secondary are basic only, tertiary genes: runes, underbelly, circuit, crackle, gembound, smoke, okapi, spines, or glimmer.
Eye Type: Fire

**If anything other than Basic/Basic is used, the dragon would be called an `Flambobo`
