WORM The Worm under the earth, it begins to grow. Long ago people told stories about a strange worm that lived at the centre of the earth. It was a harmless little thing, lacking inteligence or a sense of self. But people would say that any time a lie was told the worm would grow. It was just a story of course, something you told a child to make sure they behaved themselves... At least that's what everyone assumed. For years the worm under the earth grew, feeding from the lies people told, it multipled, grew smarter until it realized it's purpose. Having to hear all the horrible lies that were told make the worm realize two things. One, a lie, no matter how small, would still create an impact on another, and two, those who told them needed to be punished. Eventually the worm, which was now made up of millions of smaller entities, outgrew it's small home beneath the world, it ate away at everything until the earth was hallow, the dirt gone, the rocks destoryed, the earth above begining to crumble on the weight of what seemed to be everyones lies. The worm knows it's getting to big for this earth, and that the lies will never stop feeding it. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but soon enough it will appear on the surface, and when it does, the lairs will be punished first. |
