PERSONALITY

Satan himself would be unable to compete with the ruthless nature of a cursed dragon forced to consume others to benefit his own survival. Rancor was once a kind dragon, despite his name. He used to be dignified, just and loving; but not anymore. When the curse was laid upon him, he changed for the worse. The curse inverted Rancor's personality from the kind, loving dragon he had once been into something horrific. He became bloodthirsty and psychotic, and he is brutal to the core because of it. Despite his newfound primality, he still retained his intelligence, which he uses to form bonds with dragons who can help benefit him—surviving how he has to is unpleasant and he is aware that with help, it will be made much easier. Toward these allies, Rancor is loyal to the death and will kill for their safety. Their safety determines how easily he will be able to catch his next meal, and he will do just about anything to assure that it gets to him.
