Uh-oh, looks like this majestic 'dancer wandered a little too far from their home lair (83302), and now they are off to see the world! Home lair Wahlmur, 83302, left on 8 Feb 2020. Lairs visited --- 8 Feb 2020 And so at last, I am old enough to leave my birth clan. I would miss my siblings and other kindred, of course, but the chance to see other lands and meet so many different creatures and clans comes once in a lifetime. 8 Feb 2020, @hyzenthlaay Clan Mavenlark isn't far removed from my homeclan, but it might as well be a new dimension for a new arrival. Everyone's swarming all over you, looking for a gold coin, or a story, or a fight. Still, though, some of the guard settled me into their massive communal dens for a quick overnight stay. My companions in the den worried me some - they were as nervous to let their guard down around me as I was. Through frisking and checks by the guards aside, rooming with strangers whose intents remain unknown is a horrifying prospect. Still, though, with a few words exchanged, we were quick to discover that it was all of our first times away from our home clan, making the air a little easier to breathe. I don't think I'll be stopping by here any time soon, but it was still an interesting experience, to say the least. 14 Feb 2020, @XShadowStrikerX Crimsonclaws and her clan were interesting. They were clearly wary of me, but they also had another traveler. I saw them hunt earlier, they moved with such organization. I've never seen anything like it. I guess it helps that the clan leader and her mate are both Mirrors. I don't intend to stay long. 15 Feb 2020, @Spooner Ah yes, I have brofficially realized it: I am not a manberry. Time to move on... 15 Feb 2020, @Zikul I got soaking wet as I, completely by accident, headed right into a thunderstorm. Thankfully a gang of gangly teenager tundras came to my rescue with hot mead and soft towels. How embarrassing! 21 Mar 2020, @hyzenthlaay ...and I suppose it's "sometime soon", because here I am, back in Clan Mavenlark once more. I'll be completely honest with you - I've sort of been getting cold feet about this entire traveler deal. Going on the road by your lonesome, hoping to find your purpose - maybe I'm just too anxious for this sort of thing, because I've been traveling for months now, and I am no closer to a sense of discovering who I am than when I left my birth clan! Maybe I need to mull over some things at home for a while. 22 Mar 2020, @Wahlmur So, I am back at my birth clan. It is odd to find myself here: everything is the same and so changed at once. Or perhaps it is me who's change. Can it truly be so, after so little a time? There are many new faces here: the clan is bustling, and there are quite a lot of guests. The strange trio with that frightening-looking one showering sparks unnerves me. They keep to themselves. And yet... Yet, I feel the connection to this place still. I guess I will rest a bit, catch up on the news and gossip, maybe go on a hunt. It is good to be here. |
