mate: none


valar brings the most business to the harbour, sailing his ships from the open ocean into the bay, loaded with spoils and goods from his travels. he will take almost anything he can if it’ll make a profit at the markets, and uses his charm to sell to the dragons of darkwood. a natural salesman, valar tends to scope out a dragon’s personality, observing their mannerisms and preferences, before springing a perfectly suited sales pitch on them. subsequently, he’s fairly wealthy, and loves spending his coins in the tavern- his ideal night is endless ale and good company.

valar is somewhat of a loner at heart, preferring his own company, as in his eyes the only dragon he can truly trust is himself. he’s okay with this, and though he loves to flirt anywhere he can, committment frightens him- valar refuses to be tied down. a mate isn’t something he wants- he’s content to lavish his affections for a few days only, before escaping back to sea again. the ocean is his home- he never feels quite right unless he’s out on the open sea, and even on dry land, it calls to him.
