Sionyn is Orphen's first successful sentient construct, and is entirely under his yoke. When they are not assisting him in his vaults, they occasionally travel by skyboat to fetch some rarer ingredients to his rituals, and might even disappear a body for him. Their sense of self is pretty bare-boned and imperfect, and they alternate between "we" and "it" when refering to their own person.

Thanen is a strange collector in Ostraka who sells or trades occult trinkets and manuscripts. Orphen sometimes sends Sionyn to him to acquire ancient texts or materials, often in exchange for Sionyn's help in retrieving forbidden knowledge and artefacts from dangerous parts of the nearby Hewn City. |

Because of their composite origin, they may have a harder time working with elemental powers. On the other hand, they could also be able to tap into the strange essence that binds their body together to call upon a magic of their own. It is up to each individual what they do with the cards they've been dealt: they may be peaceful or vengeful, they may wish to live a normal life with dragonkin, or perhaps explore their powers, or seek others outcasts... Their origins could spark an interesting story, but it doesn't have to define them.

The metropolis has produced talented scholars, particularly in the fields of alchemy and botany, as well as skilled diplomats and courtesans both from the merchant class and the nobility. Other might seek training under any local master of trade until they are of age to travel and seek their fortune abroad.
