Misty is Alpha's trusted partner in running the clan's archives. Quiet, but always wearing a friendly smile, she is incredibly approachable and often finds hatchlings flocking around her. She is the dragon equivalent of a calm and pleasant librarian, minus the insistence on having quiet, which she seems indifferent towards.

Considering the failure of Mitre's introduction as Alpha's mate, Marshal had his doubts about introducing a mate to Ares. However, this fear turned out unwarranted, because from the moment Misty and Ares met, they were enamored with each other. Growing up in the clan, too, Misty was not without friends. Alpha would constantly talk her ear off when they were hatchlings, taking Misty's usual nature of simply smiling and nodding in any form of conversation as a sign they would be the best of friends. Misty proved a great listener to talkative Alpha, and the two bonded together over reading, be it Alpha's own creations or tomes they discovered in the hoard. As they grew into adult dragons, Alpha approached her childhood best friend with the idea of making a clan archive, which Misty happily went along with. Though her mate, Ares, is illiterate, she still brings him to the archives on occasion to read to him.
