An Ocean of Anger - The events leading to Astraeus' journey to the Windswept Plateau

By night, Astraeus admired the beautiful, cloudless sky of the windswept plateau as he traveled. Uncountable masses of stars filled the sky, so many, that he could clearly see dragon silhouettes busily flying over him. The clan of Purring winds would be incredibly far away, knowing the enormous size of the wind territory, the second biggest of Sornieth by far.

Still, traversing on land was so much easier than in water, due to his muscles being so acclimated to the high resistance of the sea. He could travel faster and for longer than the ordinary dragon this way, though flight may be more of a difficulty. This would be a challenge he would have to face eventually, if he wanted to get to the Cloudsong...

Astraeus was deep in thought when Psoron appeared suddenly in his path. This fateful meeting had his travels redirected to the clan of Eleven winds where he thought he would stay just a night or two in order to recharge and learn the best way up to the Cloudsong, but ended up being his new home, where he grew into full adulthood and assimilating into the clan culture. The clan of Eleven winds welcomed him with open arms, though no-one ever pressed Astraeus to ask why he had come to the Windswept Plateau.

Astraeus, to these new dragons, is cold and mysterious, but no danger to them, since they are kind and jovial with him in conversation. He would rather spend his time planning on how to grow his power, be it physical or magical strength than have to leave to cover his tracks again.
