He was chosen by Lilica to be her Champion of light amidst the shadows.

When Maraek and several other Nonentities betrayed humanity to unleash demonic horrors to conquer the land, Lilica's warriors were the first to respond to the threat; wielding brilliant weapons of light created by the Nonentity of Light herself that were capable of defeating Maraek. Ultimately, they unfortunately met their untimely demise and failed to defeat the Nonentity of Shadow. But they were still recognized as heroes for their efforts to unify the nations that managed to push back the evil forces and defeated the cruel Matriarch Elodena.
