If Lamda is the most respected of the clan, Kai would certainly be the second one, even above Lynfa. Eerily and gracious, Kai took the vacant spot of the Mother for everyone. Though Lamda was the head of the clan, she was rather rispid to be seen as so, making that a vacant spot available to Kaihua, the most caring of them all. It was only natural, though. Her kindness was such it extended to the beastclans. Though Lamda was fine with the familiars, since they could bring information and treasures to them from time to time, it was Kaihua who really fell in love with them. She loved their company and would even go out of her way to treat familiars of others if they didn't care enough. If she did that for them, you can imagine what she did for her own family... And kindness wasn't all she had. Her beauty was out of this world and admired by all. This combination was so powerful it took them three tries to find a decent pair for her to mate with... even Lynfa wasn't on par with her. But now she had Druayant, there was no doubt they were a pair made in heaven. They had the same aura, though he was a little more reserved. He even liked to spend time with the familiars as did she, though anyone could see his love lied with his plants. Seeing Kai and Dru happy together was almost a drug to the whole family... But something felt a little amiss ever since Sham had been talking about Cygnus's parents. A few of the members of this clan didn't really care about their former families... But Kaihua was not one of these members. Since Cyg came, she started reminiscing and telling stories about the dragons she new before. Though not all were merry memories, she found herself just as nostalgic with all of them. So imagine her surprise to find her half-sister around the lair. She met Morgana again when she was still with the youngest of her first litter with Dru, Sammy. Back then, she had asked Dru to take care of the familiars for her, since she was occupied with the little girl, but he got in way over his head and decided to fly into the woods in look of some time off... but he didn't come back over night. When Kai decided to go looking for him, she found him laying between his favorite strawberries... and her sister approaching him. She was beyond happy with just seeing her, and so glad to get news about her family. She even got to show her sister off to her new clan over lunch. She couldn't wait to meet her parents, even though she was glad to be able to send them messages now. |
