Uh-oh, looks like this endless generator of plastic junks wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, we'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread here, or this rest hub, if you don’t want another traveler in return from the thread. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it. The little yellow nubs on the topmost edges of her wings are actually capsules embedded within her skin, closing and opening at the behest of her mood. When happy, she opens them up, and a million little plastic figurines flow out of the holes. They come in all sorts of forms, with some variation given how hard she thinks about particular topics - for example, when her travels took her to the Flamecaller's land, the resulting figures all came out in the shape of coatls. She gifts them to hatchlings, who are intrigued and delighted by the entire ordeal. Their parents are usually horrified. Despite her talent, she can also actually create toys with her hands, which gives her a little bit more control over what she produces. She sells her creations on the road. He shown as bright as the sun. He was so bright in fact I had to turn my head because it hurt my eyes. "Who dares to enter the realm of the Rose Clan, children of the Tidelord." His voice boomed across the water, shaking me to my core, I started to wonder if I might have come across a reincarnation of one of the Eleven. Despite my shaking, I spoke up with a confidence and charm that surprised even myself, "I am Gachapon of Clan Mavenlark. I am a toymaker and am traveling the world to hone my trade and spread joy to hatchlings of all kinds. Might I rest with your clan for a night or two, I will make many toys for the hatchlings as payment." As I spoke to the bright dragon without actually looking at him, the light that was blinding me slowly faded until I could open my eyes. Before me, stood a handsome dragon with a much kinder face than his voice made him appear. As he spoke, his voice, though still booming, was warm, "Of course young one, you are more than welcome to stay with our clan. I am sorry if I scared you, I am the gatekeeper of the clan and must pass judgment on all who approach our waters in case they mean us harm. I've opened the air tunnel path to our caves so you may meet the clan." A little stunned by this sudden change I nodded my head, breathed out a quick thank you, and leaped down the tunnel. Once I reached the lair, I came across a kaleidoscope of dragons. 'It's no wonder the water was a rainbow,' I thought to myself, I've never seen so many shiny dragons in one place. As I was admiring the dragons of the lair a Guardian came up to me and said: "Welcome Gachapon, I am Helga, the Matriarch and founder of this clan." I started when she said my name "How do you know my name?" "Oh Izar told me, our clan has a large number of oracles and seers, more than most clans." "I see," I replied, still a little shaken by this clan. "Please make yourself at home and explore. Try not to stay more than 3 nights however, any longer and you'll be expected to benefit in the clan in some way." I met many dragons in my four days with the Rose Clan. All of them had different personalities and abilities that made me feel less out place than other clans I've visited. The hatchlings loved the toys that came out of my wings, and, to my surprise, their parents were fascinated rather than horrified. Izar even came to show me around their part of the realm. We swam with the fish along the reef, and he showed me one of his favorite flowerbeds along the sea. Later we went to visit his best friend Edur, the Master Oracle. I have never met the likes of him, he gave off a chill that only Izar could combat with his heat, and when he walked he left frosty footprints in his wake. When he swam he had to create a thin layer of air around his scales so he doesn't freeze into an ice block in the water. On my fourth day with the clan, I had to leave. Though I didn't want to go I know I needed to keep moving for the sake of my toys. It was hard saying goodbye to the hatchlings, they cried as I left. Izar took me to the edge of the Tidelord's realm to make sure I crossed the sea safely. I hope I can come back to this clan, part of me wishes I didn't have to leave. 4/7/2020, OnePiece Weeaboo: On my travels I came across a small village of dragons. They called themselves the Olympians. They were a lovely bunch, and ask me if I wished to join their ranks. I declined as I didn't think I was cut out for such splendor. Their lair was warm and the bed was soft, and the hatchlings adored my toys. One of the dragons, Aphrodite was fun to talk to. She didn't mind the toys randomly popping out of my wings, it was a nice change. But it's time to move on, my toys are back to being bland and no longer whimsical. |
