Blinky

In dark woods that tower all around, no end in sight, a traveler wanders lost. Hungry and scared as they'd been betrayed by their guide, left to wander a forest with no hope of escape, they saw a light. Not being of shadow they rush for the small comfort only to lose sight of it. Wheeling around searching desperately they see it and rush to it again. After multiple times of seeing the light, going to where it was, and having it be somewhere else the poor traveler feels toyed with. And wary. It's luring them somewhere. Despite realizing this they continue to follow albeit more cautiously for what else are they to do? They grow more nervous as they continue to follow the blinking light, it seemed to wink out and appear somewhere else rather then moving. They couldn't help but feel watched. They saw eyes at the corner of their vision, trees seemed to move, and they swore they heard something slithering somewhere. Yet when the light blinked out and didn't come back, there was a greater light. And when they nervously approached a clan sat proudly surrounded by wood.
