Biography
Vampire - One of the First Cursed.
Goldfang's twin brother. Rejecting the ways that led to them being so cursed, he fled into the dark.
Embracing becoming dweller of the depths. He, and those that followed his lead, consider themselves to be more 'enlightened' than those that cling to the light, thinking that they are more in tune with what they have become. Their hides dim in their shine the more they spend down in the dark, become ever more pale and blotted.
Growing to be more like wild creatures, they are also gluttonous things. Feeding on anything and everything they can get their claws on. Unlike the Scholars, they readily will change others to use them as their slaves. They are disposed as readily as they are made, whether as entertainment, or fodder to send in waves at their enemies.
Though he started off life as a Coatl, he became a bloated thing as he gorged on countless dragons he dragged into the dark. As his colors faded, his feathers started to fall away and his wings twisted to something more like leathery claws, more suited to grabbing and catching than flight. As in response to his long waits in the silence, massive ears sprouted from his flesh, keen to any disruption. He flaunts his new state to those he dominates as a sign of how they are an improvement on those who are desperate to stay how they were.
