Dragons of good fortune

“You stood high out of reach
There at the top of the tower
You blew out the clouds
Blocked out the sun
No end to the pull and the power.”

Dragons that are born once a year just in time for Lunar New Years as a sign of good luck and good fortune

These dragons are elemental beings that are able to manipulate Hua- the natural energy that exists in all things. Each one of these dragons is aligned with one of the heavenly animals in the twelve-year-cycle of power that has run in the same sequence since the beginning of time: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. Each dragon is known as the guardian of one of the twelve celestial directions, and a keeper of one of the Greater Virtues. Every New Year's Day one of these dragons is born, and the cycle turns, and the next animal year begins.

Lore Notes:
- Nezumi, The Fu
- Mythical beast
- Meant to be a symbol of good luck and fortune
- His kind is rare and typically only breeds once a year
- Many have tried to capture him because of this, but none have succeeded
- Can sometimes be found amidst the grounds of the Cathedral of Eyes (usually sleeping in the gardens), but often ventures across the lands to spread good luck, especially during the spring when flowers bloom in his presence.
- It is said that on rare occasions, a tower-like golden temple appears to those in need and if they can make it to the top, they are granted an audience with nezumi to request a wish of their choosing.
- Doesn't look like a dragon, more like a Fu Dog with some characteristics similar to the rat given his birth year.
- Artwork of that coming at some point
