It is said that those who are primal, can speak to the gods. But Derecho has never found the gods worth talking to. In his opinion, the best one's Tidelord, and he's gone. The gods twist the dragons, making them into monsters. The Plaugebringer's upfront about it, but the others are no better. No dragon finds joy in just being on aspect of nature. Only the gods do, and they punish all those who don't. Not even the kindest of the gods are immune. The Gladekeeper is no better than her sister just because they are opposed.

However right now, the gods are needed. The Shade is a worse evil. It must be destroyed. Then the gods can die. Right now Derecho and his group hide in the Greatwrym Breach, going over the ancient history hidden away. They learn what they can, and theorize how to kill a god. Perhaps if they're very lucky, they'll live to see the Shade defeated, and at least try to kill one of the eleven evils that rule this land.

**** 		━ Orignally they were destined to join the Stormcatcher, but during his intensive studying on the Elemental Dragons, he grew to resent them, and eventually despise them.
━ His first ally and closest friend is Fasaud, who's visions are a great help.
