Leizi is a stormchaser and a scientist. She is convinced we are all forms of energy that are bound together eternally and she is determined to prove it.

"Lightning sparks and forks and is one energy divided, then dissolved into the air again to become the primal energy that will once again build and split - eternally. So, too, are the energies contained in the living bodies. Though we are contained at the moment, grounded I guess you would say, we will break free. When that happens, you need to know what to expect."

The other lunatics in the lair were often smiling and nodding around Leizi. She was very passionate about her theories. No one was opposed to them, really. They were even interesting. But they'd all heard it before... and many of them had spent uncomfortable moments hooked up to voltage reading machines that Leizi and the other engineers and tinkerers in the clan spent cooking up to try to prove the guardian's theories.

Leizi knew deep in her heart that they were all connected... she just wanted scientific proof. If she had proof, she might stop being so scared about what happened when this flesh machine her energy was running wound down and she was free. So she experiments, and posits, and comforts herself with the ideas of never-ending life in some form or another.
