Halcyon’s foster brother. These two were raised in the same clutch after Halcyon’s egg was brought back to the nest by Ophion’s mother. They grew up together until Halcyon left to find his own way while Ophion stayed in the plague territories.
That is until he had to move away himself.
Ophion (or just “O” to his brother and friends) used to live near the Seedscar territory and felt no real danger from it most of his life. He spent his days keeping the virus from the Great Seed under control and kept his head down. Unfortunately a nasty infection broke from the confines of the quarantined sector and left most of the workers with spreading scar tissue. He was grateful to escape with his life. Not wanting to stick around anymore and wondering if the nature regions would have a treatment for his affliction, he sought out his old foster brother and now resides in the lair run by Sodansa.
He was met with a lot of scrutiny until it was determined his condition was not infectious, so long as he took a various concoction of medicines and drinks made by various healers in the clan. A small price to pay for living normally these days.
Most have a hard time believing him but his former profession is, in fact, hunting the undead.
His job was a high-energy one but also rarely actually called for him. Once in awhile a zombie outbreak descends in the plague territories and he’s called to assist. The calls come rarely nowadays seeing as he’s all but off-duty indefinitely. The kids still like to hear stories though.

These days are spent running an old but well functioning arcade for the many kids and some adults of the lair. He spends most of his free-time volunteering in the Quarantine sector of the lair to give Ratcher and Phobos a much needed break. He also enjoys catching up with his little fae brother.
