Something uncanny flickers beneath the sparkling smiles and fluttering eyelids of this flattering clan. You must remain here, to watch over it; to make sure that the threat does not spread. But the longer you remain, the greater the danger that you, yourself, may become corrupt. Where once you were pure as glacial ice, something has grown inside you -- starting from one crack, then infiltrating your entire body, suffusing you with a network of facets that flash rainbows in every direction. Worse still, parts of you have started to take on the octarine color of the lair walls themselves.
