Detective
WIPThe light blinds him. He's been here so long that the rare light of the sun blinds him- burns him. He would get out of here, otherwise.
Instead, he drifts through Tombstone; casino lights as bright as moons that he blinks, squints against. Designed to capture, to enthrall and ensnare.
A moth toward a flame; bitterly, he enters.
His companion, Jesse, watches with thinly disguised distaste as he takes a seat, gets dealt a hand. The Dripcave Deputy is a common ally to the law-enforcement of the land- not that Tombstone has much in the way of law to be enforced, but they're common allies regardless.
No city can hold him for long. There's always some new criminal to catch, and their cohorts can't stop trying to catch him. Raymond will just keep bouncing from city to city; not like it ruffles his feathers. There's a few organizations he's hunting down- a few organizations that hold powerful cities in their hands, crossing flight borders and pocketing large populations with ease.
By the time he catches one, the next city will have cooled down, and he can hop back over there to continue his crusade- so he just keeps flying, keeps dodging out of the claws of those who'd clip his wings and see him tossed in a cage like all their other pets.
He avoids the reflective surfaces that gleam and glitter in the city; shop windows, metal sheets, mirrors. If he looks too long, if he sees himself, he'll be sick. The bile rises if he even lets himself think- so it gets stuffed down, and every so often, he'll feel the looseness of his skin. His mouth fills with drool- he swallows and swallows and swallows; he can keep it down.
The casino calls him in when he wants to rest; does he get odd stares from the other patrons? Of course he does. He looks like the sort that means to cause them trouble. Law enforcement has that flavor, the sense that trouble will be made, if it isn't found.
He lowers his hat, slips inside, and finds a quiet table where he can slip into a game of poker.

He's been working on capturing the gang members in the Soliton Docks for a few days,
A frequent flier in the casino. He can often be found reminiscing over the way things were, back in his home country. No one knows why he remains here, if he so dearly loves his old home, but the staff has a few working theories. A friend of Alvaro’s, and can be found with some frequency simply hanging out in her shop- often with the chastising of “shouldn’t you get a job?” being thrown his way.
