A gifted young magician from the Ice Flight, Amiel is proud of his skill and devoted to perfection. Being a young dragon from such a large family with so many other talented dragons can be a source of inspiration for some dragons and a source of stress for others - and Amiel tends to fall into the latter category. He loves being a part of Home, but he'll admit that the pressure he places on himself to succeed can be somewhat overwhelming. He really needn't worry - Amiel is truly very talented, and his willingness to always encourage others to succeed makes him a welcome face around Home.

Irreverent and cheeky, Amiel has a flair for dramatics and tends to be somewhat arrogant and self-absorbed. It's not that he's unfriendly - the opposite is true - but he often tends to get so wrapped up in his own head and his own worries that he forgets to check in on others or becomes prone to making his problems sound the most important. He tends to trivialize most things; if it's not something he immediately cares about, it's unimportant to him. Loving to ask questions and always willing to be very self-critical, Amiel is a dragon for whom little is sacred. Never unfriendly but often introspective and self-contained, Amiel's subtle sense of humour and constant wit can come as a surprise for those who know him well. He tends to attach a great amount of gravity to whatever he's working on, so his jokes can come as a surprise. With an encyclopedic memory of magical history and theory, Amiel is a valuable research for Home's researchers and students wanting to know more about magic. Though he can be a touch self-important, Amiel is always a welcome sight, and he knows his work helps make Home a better place.
