Johanna

The earth laughs in flowers.

Johanna is a joyful, down-to-earth dragon who loves bringing some of that happiness to others with her green-thumb. On any given day she can be found attempting, and, remarkably, succeeding in introducing green spaces to the barren soil of Dragonhome. Unlike most others of her species, Johanna never eats meat or seafood, instead preferring plants and the occasional, though slightly guilty, treat of insects. Though she left her Viridian Labyrinth homeland as a hatchling, the spirit of Gladekeeper runs in her veins, and she seeks to bring life to as much of her new land as she can. Sorrel, for one, greatly appreciates no longer needing to rush through his merchant routes to bring back fresh produce.

For much of her life, Johanna resided in the Windswept Plateau. Though she enjoyed the fresh air and closeness to the sun, she felt Dragonhome calling her to spread her talent for gardening to its largely uncultivated soil. Johanna's highest goal is to convince her new family to eventually journey back with her to the join the Wind flight.

Johanna has grown many luscious glades in her time in Windswept Plateau and in Dragonhome but the time came for her to leave. Traveling the young dragon found a place in need of her "green-thumb" the Wandering Contagion of the plague flight. Though this place was very dangerous to many dragons, she felt that even in this place of ruin, life could grow.
