______ Hatched in the land of magic, Vega grew up with an appreciation for sparkling stones, spells, and the stars of the night sky. As she wandered about the vast halls of her ancestors, she often found herself asking questions. Who created those celestial twinkles in the blanket of dark velvet that covered the heavens? Were there patterns in their seemingly random scattering across the sky? This lust for knowledge led her to delve deep into scrolls and the writings of many who had passed on long before, which turned her into a wise dragon at a young age. As she grew older and had dragonets, she instilled the same wonder for nature into their inquisitive minds. The quiet, wise Pearlcatcher became respected and revered by not only her fellow clan members but also by clan leaders. Her approval and opinion was sought after. She also ran a small business in which she carved precious stones, attempting to immerse the wonder of the stars into their glimmering gemstone depths.

______ Unable to settle down, Vega traveled throughout clans hoping to find a home in which her longing heart could find peace. However, her search only led to utter despair and she was filled with sadness. Her many mates and dragonets moved on, yet she could not. Finally, she realized that she faced exaltation, something that shook her to the core. Although she would love to wander about the stars forever, she did not believe her time was yet over, and hoped to impart the knowledge of her long life to young dragons who wished to learn. This sentiment caught the eye of Adder, a young mirror who hoped to find homes for dragons in despair, such as herself. Before long, Vega had a home within a clan that loved her.
