- a relentless hunter of the shade. she's seen at the forge only to rest or to experiment with new dark spells and curses.
- her mother left her egg in the forge after hiding out from the forgemasters. the forge raised her, but her instincts still drive her to hunt and kill the shade.
- she can bestow some very powerful curses, but only uses them on shade-touched creatures for easier hunting.

Seekers consumed by their desire to hunt the Shade have reached all corners of the world, many of them shedding age old traditions that for so long have hindered their ability to contain the one thing their god had asked of them. It is in the Blacksand Annex that the most extreme of these Seekers thrive, their fur adapted for cold weather scorched black from the landscape while their mutations match the lava flows around them. These Gaolers have long since abandoned their old traditions, and began to embrace darker magics to hunt their shade touched foes. Necromancy, curses and other dark magics are not beyond their capabilities. The most reputable of these hunters have pushed their magics so far that their fur crackles with the glow of embers, and flesh has been replaced by blackened bone.
