Fauna's tribe, or trip, is one of the many that are scattered throughout the Starfall Isles. She and her kind make themselves scarce when a dragon approaches, but if a dragon knows where to look, there are some who are willing to trade.

For every dragon-friendly Longneck tribe, such as Fauna's own trip, there is at least one hostile, and the Starwood Strand with its thick brush of trees make for many perfect hideouts.

Throughout the years, these dragon-hostile trips have used this advantage to sneak into dragon lairs at night and make away with their eggs. These eggs they then raise as their own, in one of the Longneck Disciplines. Fauna was raised as a Fighter, her trip clad in green. As the generations passed, these dragons slowly changed in appearance until they resembled their muted kin in body and wings, while they took up striking markings signaling their Discipline on their legs and necks.

Fauna and her kind can be found wherever there are Longnecks hostile toward dragonkind, meaning that they can be found in a majority of the regions of Sornieth. Dragons are advised to keep their distance unless combat trained and in the company of other dragons, as all Longkin are highly dangerous and tend to travel in their respective trips.

One of the Longnecks of Fauna's trip has chosen to accompany her to her new home and has decided to stay alongside her.
