Rhydwen had always been a bit more carefree than the other clanmates, putting it simply. She lives a wild life where she acts only on her own whim and whimsy. She's never anyone's first choice to ask for help because with her attitude it's impossible to know if she would actually help or not.

Rhydwen seems to find herself in trouble often, which is no surprise to many other members of the clan. Yet, somehow she always manages to find her way out unscathed. She refuses to elaborate on her 'lucky streak' and says she merely did what any dragon would have done in her situation. Still, many dragons find themselves hard-pressed to come up with a way to make a daring escape from three Crowned Rocs after just stealing their only child.

The hatchlings adore Rhydwen because of her fun tales. She rather likes telling them to her too, but again, leaves her escapes from certain doom to their imagination. Not every story of hers is the most action-packed, though. Sometimes her sudden desires lead to much more productive activities. For example, after getting a sudden craving for shrimp only to find out that there were no seafood stores, she single-handily restocked the entire clan's food stores. Witnesses say that after all that trouble, she ended up eating something else though...
