Golden was born and raised in the Light Flight. She was taken care of well by her parents and enjoyed playing with her siblings. Growing up, the imperial enjoyed running in the open fields or playing within the runes near her birth clan. Even at such a young age, Golden would sometimes pause on a sunning spot and look out across the field. One day she wanted to go out and see what was far beyond camp, as did her siblings. Her parents often told stories of their own birth clans and the world outside of Light, which only further sparked the desire to see such places for herself. When she was old enough, the young imperial began her travels. She headed for Water first and joined a clan near a busy port. There she could learn about a variety of dragons and flights. Golden momentarily settled down and had a nest with a spiral before moving on with her life once they were grown. Shortly after, she found another clan in a quieter part of water. For a while she trained as a soldier for the clan, though the area was so peaceful they didn't really need it. Again, she settled down for a while and raised a nest with an imperial. For a time, she enjoyed this slow paced lifestyle. Golden protected her home and raised her nest until they were old enough to make their own way in life. But then the boredom began nagging at her. When she heard news of an emperor in Light, she made her choice. Leaving her current clan, she flew back to try finding out what happened to her old family. Unfortunately, she never could find any signs of what might've happened to them. The imperial settled down with the Falgem Bastille, a growing outpost on the border of Light near Shadow. It was still unnervingly close to the emperor but it was also a place that brought her comfort in knowing she was still near where she grew up and potentially capable of finding out what happened to her family. Once again, she took up a role of soldier and trained hard to keep her skills sharp. It worked out well despite how tough the training was. She was offered a challenge and they got another soldier in their military mindset.
