Her Search began the first time she heard the voice in her mind.

"I'm here, come find me!"

It was high pitched and ringing, like wind chimes in a storm or the clatter of bells hitting the ground.

The sound of her Charge. Her burden to bear, her treasure to protect. It was music to her ears.

Biography

Once upon a time Benedetto and Adelise went deep into the Tangled Wood to replenish the clan's meat hoard. They were gone for five days, during which two search parties were sent out and Danika was nearly inconsolable.

The second search party found the two young dragons in the company of a large pink Guardian, hurt but alive. They had accidentally wandered into centaur territory, perceived as a threat, and were attacked. They were saved by the Guardian, Marcelina, who heard the commotion as she was passing by in the middle of her Search. She managed to stop the attack and lead the two to safety, but she wouldn't let them go back to their clan until their wounds healed. Or so she said, in reality, she felt a tug towards the little Spiral, and knew Adelise was meant to be her charge.

Nowadays, Marcelina is part of the clan's defense system, working alongside Borislav to protect her clan and her charge. When she's not doing that, she's with the oracle. With her help, Adelise has been able to control the onset of her visions.
