Thrais

________
WARRIOR
"Oh, the winner gets to win. That's what it's all about." - Granny Weatherwax
Thrais has a strong spirit, but tends to show that in aggression. He struggles to make connections after being abandoned by his birth clan, worried about being abandoned again. He learnt how to be a warrior in the lightning clan that raised him, but the sharp edges in him are still there.
In that lightning clan he also learnt other ways to show affections, through actions and gifts. That fits him better and those he is close to will often realise so by the random silent gifts he gives, or how he makes sure they won’t be put in danger.

What happens when a hatchling gets lost in the woods?
The hatchling runs, and runs, and runs. And still gets caught in bramble and vine, only further lost. Thrais ran until he found a clan, strange but welcoming. They listened to his words, healed his cuts and eased his pain.
He was ill-fitting there, harsh where they were kind, angry where they were compassionate. Energy to burn and a strive to prove himself. So they took him to the Training Grounds, showed him a way to channel that fire into helping the clan.
In a way he blossomed there. He didn’t have to worry about niceties or small talk. He could fight, show his care for the clan by taking out their enemies, gathering materials.
Still, Thrais feels odd-at-ease there, no matter how welcome he is.

He’s stronger now, strong enough that no lost path can stop, not anymore.
But lost he is. He will wander now, away from the place his muscles grew and into the world, hoping to find his place.
