Uh-oh, looks like this speedy Wildclaw wandered a little too far from his lair (128126, someKindOfGenius), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. One of the best trackers in Sornieth, TwilightTides has already seen much of the world, but hungers for more. Leaving the eternally dark Tangled Wood in search of new game to hunt, he may have bitten off more than he can chew. It was in the middle of a particularly vicious fight with a pair of zeebas, on the coastline, that Twilight met CrescentMoon, a beautiful wildclaw with colouration not unlike his own. Swooping in with the killing blow, she bustled him away, patched up some of his new scars, and promised to show him some new tricks for when he wished to fight, rather than hunt. It turned out that they had hailed from the same lair, and as they began to talk with each other, they discovered just how much they had in common... under a moonlight sky, keeping their first batch of eggs warm, Twilight decided that he didn't want to let Crescent go. Not yet, anyway. They travelled from lair to lair together until they wound up in the Hewn City. By then, Crescent had told him most - if not all! - of her secrets, and they had both honed their skills, learning what they could about Sornieth as they went. The Light Clan, many of them travelers themselves, swooped down on them like a horde of birds, eager to feed them, offer them drink - one coatl even offered him frozen strawberry jam! - and patch up and upgrade their clothes. He lost track of all their names, but he knew that his mate was making detailed notes on every member of Clan Tricksterling. That night, touched by their generosity, he and Crescent decided to wait a while... They moved on to a Shadow Clan, but the dragons there did not welcome the pair. They were jumped by the clan's fighters and robbed of some of their belongings. The two skedaddled out as quickly as they could.
