Named after the Scottish clan associated with marshland and left-handedness


‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ Even when living in a lush environment, one must not take water for granted. One year of too much or too little rain can easily lead to disaster. This is why Kerr constructs devices around the clan to collect rainwater for later use, in addition to planning gutters to prevent flooding. She teaches dragons about the importance of preserving nearby wetland ecosystems because they can help trap excess rainwater that could otherwise flood below-ground dens. Kerr also invents devices-- both for stored water and for personal use-- that help clean it for drinking and prevent diseases.
