Venom’s familiar is an enchanted book he refers to as Tome. Although it is very loyal, it tends to be mischievous and a bit twitchy, often getting “lost”. This book is very stubborn about its duties as the Leader's companion. It holds a lot of important information, but is often choosy about who gets to read it, even if that dragon is Venom. Venom will refer to this book in times of need, as it holds old history, notes from ancient leaders, and even wisdom from great dragons of the past in the great war. He tends to consult these passages when times are dire and he doesn't know where else to turn to.
Despite being stubborn, Tome’s loyalty can’t be matched. It was passed down to Venom from his father, the ceremony passing rights to companionship to Venom. This book watched over the egg for Venom’s father and mother as they led the clan, beginning the bonding process before the hatchling had even seen the world.

Personality:
Venom can be brash at times, but is as kind of a leader as he can be. Everything he does keeps the safety and longevity of the clan in mind, though it can come across as harsh sometimes. He’s fairly strict, knowing the rules he has in place are there to keep the clan from danger. Hes very fatherly to Vrogom if not more strict to her than the rest. She’s his only daughter, so he's very protective. Although he has moments where he can see his smothering, he believes it's all for her best interest. With Froogle, his mate, he is trusting, knowing she can handle herself in many situations. He really is just trying his best.

Likes:
Venom is a stickler for order. He likes when everything is organized, in its place, and running smoothly. He enjoys when every dragon is in a group and working together smoothly. He loves his family and maybe the protection of his daughter a little too much. He likes peace but doesn't mind fighting when necessary. He has to be pushed pretty far for that though. Despite all of this, he actually enjoys taking a break with his mate to do pretty much anything other than being a leader. He likes hunting and fishing as well as swimming and just running through the trees. He really enjoys gentle rain and thunderstorms and sitting on cliffs on clear nights watching the moon and stars, especially with his daughter.

Dislikes:
Venom can't stand messes. Since he likes order so much, things being disorganized is pretty nerve wracking. He also can't handle when too many things are happening at once. Of course it's normal for dragons to not like stress, but he handles it worse than most dragons.

Daily Responsibilities:
Venom’s responsibilities include: Organizing daily patrol parties, hunting parties, and guard parties. He enforces rules and policies and often is the one everyone comes to for what to do next or reports of findings. He is usually the one to deal with findings and reports or decide what to do next with them.

Backstory:
Venom’s mother and father were the previous leaders of the clan. At a young age he knew he was destined to lead along with his father’s familiar, a Tome that had been passed down for generations though special leader ceremonies. While a young hatchling in training he met Froogle, a tundra hatchling from another clan. She had been abandoned and lost (more info in Froogle’s info), but was found by venom and brought home. After many years of training, they eventually fell in love, Froogle becoming Venom’s queen when he became the leader of the clan. They soon had their daughter, Vrogom, and have led peacefully so far.
