He had the eyes of a dragon who had seen things. And undoubtedly, he had. You can’t live for centuries without seeing a thing or two. While the years made some kind, they had done the opposite for Blackhole. He had seen the cruelty of the world in its myriad forms, and each time his heart had hardened a little more, until his walls were too thick for anyone to break through.

At least that’s what he thought. And then he joined a clan. Having lived on his own for all those years, he’d had to bear the burdens of life all on his own. But now, things were different. For the first time in his very long life he knew what it meant to rely on someone, depend on someone. To ask for help and receive it, and have others ask the same of you. He learned to love and protect his clan, to fight for them, no matter the cost. Now, he knew what it meant to have something worth living for.
