Silapinua

Often nicknamed "Sil" or "Sila," Silapinua is a quiet, watchful sort. It is said among the hatchlings that he is possibly half-spirit himself, as he ghosts about the caverns so silently that even the most alert among them only know they are being observed when they raise their eyes in the correct direction and see the reflection of his fiery orange eyes glowing in the darkness, staring at them. (A few of the young hatchlings venture that the birdskull-wearing Onorwalsi is actually the more frightening and wraithlike of the two, but most will disagree vehemently; they insist Sila's silence is much more ominous and much harder to break.) On the other hand, given his natural sneakiness and seeming ability to be everywhere he wishes to observe others, he is an excellent dragon to speak to to discover secrets--if you can find him and convince him it's worth speaking of, that is.

Personally, when given a choice he tends to prefer the company of dragons like Trieste who make few if any demands of him and are more naturally willing to sit in companionable silence. He doesn't exactly fail to get along with most dragons, however, and is quite stoic about enduring even the most persistently pestersome and irritating sorts; most are actually a little too scared (or at least wary) of him to ever outright pick any fights. Those who don't find him too chilling usually find him too boring and difficult to provoke, and will wander off in search of much easier targets.
