Archiver for Saija's Pack, once a powerful warrior. Now keeps oddities encased in ice, and maintains the pack's lair at a frigid winter temperature so they have a taste of home. Cynical, jaded. Very stoic and stern. Pessimist. Used to believe in the cause of the Ice Warden, but has long-since lost faith, having seen more of the world and realized how different things were from the time before Gaoler's reintegrated with society. Rumored to be able to make ice golems out of frost and bone, but nobody has ever seen him do it. Deep voiced. Speaks little. Is gradually warming up to outsiders, but only a smidgen. Has an ice spirit that manifests as an owl named Frostfall, a gift directly from the Sentinels in the Fortress of Ends to act as a guide on the venture north. Has a love-hate relationship with it. Keeps it at arm's length.
