Tairo is Naalas' hand picked liason to Ostraka. Shortly after Tairo arrived in Refuge, Naalas pulled a few strings to get him an apprenticeship in Kothos, where he learned his archaeological knowledge. During said apprenticeship, he was in constant contact with his patron in the Riftruin Court- he had more to learn than how to unearth the secrets of the past.

After his apprenticeship, he returned to the Court, where he was carefully instructed by Naalas and Sahqon on how to find secrets, in the current, that might not be available to a layperson. With the Light element's ingrained lust for knowledge, Tairo sapped this instruction up faster than expected.

Naalas had him trained with a purpose in mind. The charismatic ghost had an experience in Old Caravanserai, before it's fall, that changed him into what he is today. While Naalas is too busy as Athana's left hand, and far too conspicuous. Tairo, as an eager archaeologist is a much easier figure to fade into Ostraka's background so his real work can begin. Tairo's here to investigate the fog to the best of his ability, regardless of if Ostraka's current inhabitants intend to cooperate or not.

He is joined in this endeavor by his mate Cyper, a wraith from an interesting bloodline.
