Silverscales

Silverscales was amongst the dragons that would eventually become the Escapees when they dug their way to the outside world, having been a hatchling soon to walk the Gale Road and likely die in the process. She was only saved by a stroke of luck as Goldfuzz briefly peeked into the Stronghold from the hidden entrance to their cell, only to find the young guardian shivering in fear and hiding in an attempt to avoid being sent out, seeing how violent the winds are and how small she was. The leader’s daughter took pity on the hatchling and took her back down with her as they were getting ready to escape, ultimately saving her from what would surely be her death, even granting Silverscales her name when she learnt she hadn’t even been named before her trek outside the Stronghold was scheduled.
Once they escaped and found sanctuary within the Clear-Ballad Plateau she seemed to develop a very black and white viewpoint of their situation and the world in general, they were good, the Galelurkers were bad, the most that would change was when a bad dragon became good or a good dragon became bad, but they’re often treated as rare occurrences by the Guardian. It was at this time that Silverscales also developed an odd interest in the traditions of the Ice Flight, who fought tirelessly to capture remnants of the Shade or those who were tainted and corrupted by it and imprison them so that they may never harm the world again, such a lifestyle she adored so much that she ended eventually going there herself.
Unfortunately to some degree, her expedition didn’t go as planned, she was briefly captured by a cursed Mirror that didn’t really have a name for herself aside form what dragon’s called her in their last moments, the Mirror seemed to have sympathy for Silverscales, noting a similar background when it came to adult dragons sentencing them to death, whether by stupidity or a lapse of judgement. The two talked for a while, with the Mirror closing her ice-turning eyes in order to make sure she didn’t kill her first living guest, before they each gave each other something, for the Mirror Silverscales gave her a proper name, Eyesee, since it was accurate to the dragon and Eyesee had recently discovered that she liked puns, and for Silverscales Eyesee gave her an Ice Gem Guardian that she’d recently stored away amongst her collection, as a reminder of their interactions. When she returned to her home after such an eventful trip she noticed a peculiar ability to use ice magic, but only when the Gem Guardian was close by, soon after it was realised that these Gem Guardians had the ability to strength a dragon’s elemental magic or allow them to use magic from other Flights, Silverscales couldn’t be happier with her power, she was now even closer to the dragons she idolised, not entirely processing that the dragon that had given her this gift would likely be shunned by her heroes.

At the present day, Silverscales is one of the few fighters in the clan, being completely on board with someday ridding Sornieth of the Galelurkers, but in her spare time she continues to research more about the Ice Flight, planning to someday join their pursuit in capturing all the remains of the Shade once and for all.
