Ace

“Waves are moving in, soon enough this entire city will be underwater.” Sinto hissed, coarsely. Fire burned up in his throat. Sugarplum came forward, Amethyst following.
“Sinto is right, if we stay, we die.” He clutched Amethyst close. “Everybody will die. Including the familiars.”
Ace growled.
“I-I can’t.” His voice shook, remembering all the fun times he had as a hatchling there with Sugarplum and Sinto, as Sinto’s silky, red, gorgeous wings shone in the sun.
“Do you want everybody to die? The tides are moving, moving in, that is. Dragons will die, hatchlings will die.. Ace, we have to warn the others.”
Ace’s tongue flicked unhappily and he bared his teeth, losing the city he had grown up in, turning into underwater ruins. He then, gave in. He nodded to Sinto.

“Let’s go with him.”
