A mind that has been addled from excessive consumption of hallucinogenic mushrooms, his philosophy that "Hell is other people" has proven to be factual on a resounding scale. Many write him off as being simply insane and too far gone to know what he is talking about, while they themselves do not realize that the statement has proven right in their own lives as well.

"Hell is other people." Sartre murmurs beneath his breath.
"Every day of our lives, we are forced to be afflicted with the presence of others. Consciousness is not alone in the world. It must accommodate itself with other minds, which are also fighting to exist. Solipsism is merely a gentle dream. Shame is the original feeling brought on by the realization of the existence of others. In other words, shame of oneself is in the gaze of the other. It is the crushing realization that I am little more to others than the physical manifestation of my body in their sight.
