B I O G R A P H Y

Born in the Emberglow Hearth, Callum was always the bookish type; reading about both tales of adventure and medicine. Something tugged at his heart to adventure, and so he set off in the night against his parent's wishes, bags packed with books on Alchemy and fighting.

It didn't take long for Callum to meet Baldwin, and the two quickly hit it off. He spent months with Baldwin, learning he trade of Alchemy and learning to fight from those who visited them. But, after about 2 months of learning under the Bogsneak, Something was tugging Callum north, and he hfelt he had no choice but to follow the feeling. Callum had been adventuring on his own in the Viridian Labyrinth, where the feeling he felt so long ago had taken him, when he saw a Nocturne sitting on a cliffside above the ocean. Something about her drew him in, the feeling similar to the one that brought him here, and it was only when the cliffside gave out under her did he spring into action, flying under her and catching her before she hit the water. He introduced himself, and asked her name, to which she replied with Rysha. The name sounded familiar to him, and the two seemed to quickly become good friends after some light conversation.

Callum and Rysha returned to the Clan, to which Willow insisted that he stay. It was later revealed that Willow had a vision that showed the two of them meeting and becoming mates, which happened far more quickly than anyone in the clan had anticipated. Many, including Pandora herself, began to think that the two had known each other in a previous life. This became more apparent when Sumah left shortly after Rysha and Callum had their first clutch. The two are virtually inseparable, only leaving each others side for their duties within the clan. Callum quickly took over Amira's duties as clan alchemist, showing a more natural talent for it (the teachings from Baldwin certainly didn't hurt) quickly after the Nocturne took him under her wing. His days are often spent concocting new things to help his clan (including the potion that changed Rysha from a Nocturne to a Coatl), or performing his duties as a guard. He often goes on runs to replenish the clans supplies of wine as needed, and helps Cadell when planning the food and drink for festivals. He and Rysha have 3 children that live with the clan; Elodie, Gale, and Kalin.

_In DnD_

____Callum, Like Rysha, is inspired from a long-running Dungeons and Dragons campaign. He is Rysha's husband, and a lord of the elven lands. He is the founder and primary owner of the Sustainable Shield, as well as father to two daughters that aren't his by blood. He is 40 years old, and his class is Fighter/Alchemist. He was in training to be a member to the royal guard before he was discharged due to having issues with authority. Callum's favored weapons are a longsword and a tower shield, however he also has an affinity for explosives.

____After an adventure into essentially the Feywild, Callum found a flower known as the Sun Orchid, which was planted near an ancestral lake in Rysha's homeland. Along with finding this flower, Callum was also given a recipe on how to use the seed of the sun Orchid to extend his lifespan to match Rysha's in incriments of 100 years.

_Personality_

____Callum is very protective of those close to him. He is also very blunt, telling people (and other dragons) what is exactly on his mind. Also very loyal, one could describe him as your typical knight / prince charming character.

____However, Callum is not without his flaws. His protectiveness of others can often result in unintentional injuries, and he is also very prideful, hiding his injuries and weakness from others. He prides himself on being both physically and mentally strong, but even the strongest minds and bodies can break under enough pressure or emotional distress. His devotion to Rysha nearly got people killed on the Sun Orchid quest, making evident that he does not always put the needs of others before the needs of himself.
